Park board meeting notes: 25.06.02

Paul Doherty presented: 

All requests approved:

• Pageant field:   three approvals  6/20; 8/30; and 10/5.

• Faxon Park:  one approval  for Sat. Sept. 6th

• Therrien Field: one approval for Friday July 11th.

• Creedon Field:  approved to be used for a youth soccer camp, M-F July 14 - July 17th.

 Commissioner's report

• By Paul:  bunting is being put up all over the City for Flag Day / 400th birthday parade

  • 11 bands

  • 15 floats

  • 100 units

  • 6 giant historic flags

  • Antique cars

  • 6:00 PM start at Brother's Roast Beef (Hannon Parkway and Hancock).

  • Kids start at Quincy High

  • Fireworks at 9:15 or 9:30 / Ronan Tynan will sing patriotic medley and national anthem.
