Why do you believe you are the best candidate to represent Quincy residents at this time?
I have a background in technical and customer support. I listen to people's concerns and consult with others before making informed decisions. I break things down step by step and relate information in easy-to-understand language. I am not afraid to make mistakes or to ask the tough questions to get things done.
What three issues are you most concerned about, and if elected, how will you address them?
There are many more, but here are my three: Better Representation For the Ward as a Whole, Clear and Accessible Communication, Progress on Public Works.
Regarding Better Representation For the Ward as a Whole:
I will create opportunities for people to be heard and acknowledged by:
Holding town hall meetings, using translation services when needed
Allowing for public comment before council meetings
Having open hours for people to contact or meet with me
The goal is to create an open space for others to talk about Quincy-related issues.
Clear and Accessible Communication
Government workers can be difficult to get in contact with, and sometimes do not respond to communications.
I will ensure that I am accessible and providing updates through various channels including:
Newsletter
Social Media
City of Quincy website
Discord
Reddit
Progress on Public Works
Potholes are not only unsightly but can cause damage to vehicles and create unsafe road conditions.
I will work with DPW to fix potholes in a reasonable timeframe.
If elected, what steps will you take to ensure responsiveness and clear communication between you and the Quincy community?

What do you plan to do about Quincy’s $1.6 billion debt?
Look at the budget thoroughly, cut back on spending where it makes sense, find ways to raise revenue. Also renegotiate rates with creditors if possible.
What do you think is the most important role of being a City Councillor?
Representing the people and people being confident in reaching out and confiding to you their thoughts and concerns.
What will you do to increase civic participation and voter turnout in Quincy?
Translation services for underserved populations, advocate for a local holiday for people to come out and vote without having to feel like they need to balance their schedule.
Will you advocate for the City Council to allow the opportunity for public comment at every City Council meeting?
Yes
